21-Day Meditation Experience –Final Round up

The recent 21-Day Meditation Experience has come to an end. My vacation landed at the tail-end of this experience. I attempted to set aside time each day to meditate during the vacation. I’ll call it a moderate success. I’m still playing a little catch-up, but it was a solid A- effort. I’m looking forward to listening to the last 2 sessions today and tomorrow. The focus shifted in week 3 to expanding awareness and creativity beyond ourselves, and sharing a limitless life with others around us.

Centering Thoughts

Each day’s guided meditation had a centering thought. Here’s a round up of the centering thoughts from the final 10 days, with the bonus day 22.

Day 13: I deserve a life without limitations.

Day 14: Every day unfolds the next step in my journey.

Day 15: When I relate to anyone, both of us will gain something.

Day 16: I create a space around me that is open and appreciative.

Day 17: I trust that creativity can solve any problem.

Day 18: I bring to others the same joy and fulfillment I want for myself.

Day 19: I want a “yes” that is good for everyone.

Day 20: I participate to the fullest in creating my personal reality.

Day 21: I realize every day that my true purpose is to evolve.

Day 22: I create my reality to benefit the world.

What happened during my 21-Day Meditation Experience

This was the first time I participated in the 21-Day Meditation Experience with Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey. Many thanks to everyone who came along for the ride with me. I look forward to doing this again!

I saw the faces of many clients when I read the centering thought for Day 13. I deserve a life without limitations. Absolutely. Limitations rise up like barricades in so many aspects of our lives. Often, they were built by others and we take on the maintenance role in perpetuity. We construct some limitations ourselves to guard our hearts, explain hurts, and avoid failure. Then we carefully maintain those limitations, tending them like a beloved garden, long past their usefulness. It’s time to cancel the maintenance contract. That is one step toward becoming unstuck and living a limitless life. Try it. You won’t regret it.
