I love working with people with anxiety. I didn’t start out there, but over the years anxious clients kept finding their way to me. There is no greater honor than having a healed anxious person send their anxious friend to me for therapy! I love working with high flyers who are frustrated at work, in their sport, in their creative process, or in life. It gives me great satisfaction to help another professional find meaning in their work again, overcome burnout, get back on track professionally and regain their mental health. I love seeing the light come back to the eyes of someone who has gone too long without the sleep their body craves. And I nerd out over the neuroscience behind our nervous system and emotional regulation. I love sharing that with clients and seeing children and adults find calm when their nervous system has been on fire.

When I’m not working, I like to 

 

hang out with friends and family who take me on hikes I’m never prepared for

 

crochet 

 

mindlessly scroll on my phone instead of read my book club books until I remember it’s bad for my brain and start reading again.
